The 2016 Guide to Admission and Financial Aid and its companion website, WisconsinsPrivateColleges.org, retains what you have identifi ed as the most useful features: the average out-of-pocket tuition costs, the focus on scholarships, grants, and loans, admission requirements, degrees, certifi cates, searchable information on majors and minors and extracurriculars, degree and credit transfer opportunities, on-campus contacts for veterans and those in foster care. In addition, there are new features such as application timelines, housing options, and campus contacts for students with disabilities. "…and now for something [really] different…" YOU! If you are reading this Guide you are considering embarking upon a college career—or helping someone else fi nd their path to college. A quality higher education is truly life transforming. You will gain skills and knowledge and—more important—wisdom and understanding which will make you into something "completely different." This does not mean a rejection of all that you are and have accomplished or that has gone before, but rather greater insight and greater understanding of how things work, how they can be improved, how they can be preserved, how they can be shared, and how they can be celebrated. It is all about YOU. It is all about your "5 Cs:" creativity, communication, critical reasoning, community, and character. This Guide is just one illustration that Wisconsin's private colleges and universities, your school counselors and teachers, your family, and your community want to help YOU. "…and now for something completely different…" Rolf Wegenke WAICU president …AND NOW FOR SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT…
