CTSIC is the first Chinese cigar maker to import high-quality tobacco from the world's top-grade cigar leaf producing re- gions including Brazil, Indonesia, and the Philippines. In producing its General ci- gars, CTSIC not only uses imported high- quality leaf but also applies large quanti- ties of high-quality leaf tobacco grown in China under its supervision. So far, the center has established exclusive high- quality growing bases in ecologically-fa- vorable regions across China, including Jilin, Hunan, Guangdong, and Sichuan provinces, which guarantees sufficient storage of high-quality leaf, and which also guarantees the long-term excellence and stability of the quality of its cigars.
