KDF 5LEAD: UNPARALLELED
FLEXIBILITY IN FILTER PRODUCTION
HAUNI'S KDF 5LEAD FILTER ROD MAKER passes qualifying tests for the
BAT Group with flying colors. LEAD stands for "length and diameter" and allows the
operator to change specifications in record time at the touch of a button. During test-
ing, the machine demonstrated outstanding flexibility and efficiency, enabling quick
format changes to be performed in under 1 hour from quality to quality. More than ten
different BAT filter specifications have been successfully produced on KDF…5LEAD
in Bayreuth so far. In combination with the FLEXPORT concept for special filters,
flexibility in filter production is all set for the future. A very warm thank you to BAT for
