Big Lake, MN Like us on Facebook Untitled-16 1 8/20/14 9:10 AM Chillin' Overdrive reader Satbir Rai uploaded this photo of his 2009 Peterbilt 389 in July with the caption "Just chillin'." The Bakersfield, Calif.-based trucker hauls reefer with the Pete, to which he's added aftermarket stacks, the visor and a few other custom touches – all painted to match the truck's maroon paint job. More than the name implies Missouri-based operator Steven Homfeld says he hauls "just about anything you can put on a flatbed" with this 2003 Peterbilt 379, the cornerstone of his and his wife Brenda's single-truck company, B&S Livestock. Though livestock's in the name, Homfeld says a fair amount of his runs are steel loads out of Houston. The truck, which has more than 1.5 million miles, is powered by a 550-hp Cat and an 18-speed transmission. Homfeld added Hogebuilt fenders, 8-inch stacks and a Bully Dog tuner under the hood.
