Additionally, Churchill Downs will serve Old Forester Mint Julep, recently named "The Offi cial Drink of the Kentucky Derby," during the 141st Kentucky Derby. Old Forester Mint Julep is sold in a commemorative 1-L Kentucky Derby bottle, with a horse- themed neck wrap, for a suggested re- tail price of $24.99. NEW BUZZBALLZ FLAVORS BuzzBallz — the maker of premium, pre-made, ready- to-drink cocktails — has announced its new spring/ summer fl avors. These are Tea-Licious, a blend of iced tea and lemonade; Pineapple Passion, with fruit juice and a punch of sweet rum; Watermelon Smash; and The Grapeness. Each BuzzBall is between 15%- 20% ABV, mixed with vodka, rum, or tequila. They are sold individually and in a spring/summer mixed case. They are freezable, allowing for a slush beverage. The suggested retail price is $2.99 per ball. PINNACLE CUCUMBER VODKA Pinnacle Vodka has released a new fl avor, Cucumber Vod- ka, a blend of ripe cucumber with notes of sweet vanilla, plus a smooth fi nish, accord- ing to the company. Pinnacle Cucumber is a 70-proof, fi ve- times distilled vodka that can be consumed chilled, on the rocks or in mixed cocktails. It is now available nationwide at a suggested retail price of $12.99 for a 750ml bottle. ANCHOR SAISON SPRING ALE Anchor Brewing announced the national release of Anchor Saison Spring Ale, a Belgian-style ale with a California twist. First released in California in March of 2014, this seasonal brew is now spreading to the entire country. By using locally cultured saison-style yeast and adding lemongrass, lemon peel and ginger, Anchor Brewing put their own twist on this classic beer style. SUN CHASE PINOT NOIR Guarachi Family Wines has announced the inaugural release of its single vineyard Sun Chase Pinot Noir 2013. The grapes were night har- vested by hand and aged 11 months in 100% French oak, 55% new. The resulting wine exhibits a fl oral nose and fruit, with rich red berries that are complemented by tannins and acidity. Sun Chase is one of the highest elevation vineyards in the Petaluma Gap, where most of the Pinot Noir blocks reside above the morning fog line, allowing for ample sunlight. GORDON BIERSCH ZWICKEL PILS Gordon Biersch Brewing Co announced the availability of Zwickel Pils, the latest in the company's series of limited-re- lease "Uberbier" bottlings. Zwickel Pils is a bottom-fer- mented pilsner brewed using the Hallertau and Tettnang hops, plus Pilsner malt used to brew the company's Czech-style pilsner. Zwickel Pils is available beginning in April wherever Gordon Biersch products are sold. 750ml swing- top bottles retail for $5.99. BOLS GENEVER SINGLE BARREL Lucas Bols announced its latest release, a single-barrel genever aged six years, now available through a limited number of outlets in New York. The limited edition barrels of aged Bols Genever have been popular at select restaurants since 2012, but have not been available for retail purchase until now. Typically, Bols Genever is aged in French Limousine Oak, while this specifi c bar- rel is being aged in American white oak. BD NEW TWISTED TEA FLAVORS The Twisted Tea Brewing Company has announced the release of Twisted Tea Strawberry Lime and Twisted Watermelon Lemonade, both available nationwide. Strawberry Lime is a hard iced tea that combines the taste of real iced tea with strawberry notes highlighted by a hint of lime. Made with real watermelon juice, Watermel- on Lemonade is light with a dry fi nish, just like homemade lemonade. Both styles are 5.0% ABV, and are available in 6-packs for a suggested retail price of $7.99-9.49 and 24oz cans for a suggested retail price of $2.49-2.99.
