Fall foliage color is translucent reddish yellow. I planted 'Green Vase' (showy fall color) and 'Musashino' (more narrow form). Zelkova can tolerate dry soils and has no serious pests or diseases. 2004 DBH and height at planting: 1.5 inches (3.8 cm)/14 feet (4.3 m) 2015 DBH and height: 9.5 inches (24 cm)/29.5 feet (9 m) Turkish Filbert (Corylus colurna) has interesting flakey bark and yellow fall foliage color.
