Bracing on a historic 600-year-old pine at Suncheon's Seonam Temple Suncheon Bay Ecological Park is one of the world's largest protected coastal wetlands, with 8.3 square miles (21.6 square km) of mud- flats and 2 square miles (5.4 square km) of reed (Phragmites communis) beds.
