Next Gen Groundwater Professionals Meetup Tuesday, December 15 4–5:15 p.m. Students and young professionals are invited to share their experiences on get- ting started in the groundwater industry with new friends. The event will also let you welcome and congratulate the winners of this year's NGWA awards that spotlight the best and the brightest in the ground- water industry. Winners are recognized for outstanding contributions through service, innovation, research, safety, and outstanding projects of scientific and technological importance. Award winners include CDM Smith Inc., which will receive an Outstanding Groundwater Project Award–Protection for its work on Luxor and Edfu ground- water lowering at antiquity sites, and Layne Christensen Co. and Owen & White Consulting Engineers Inc., which will be honored with an Outstanding Groundwater Project Award–Supply for its scavenger well couple for chloride management project constructed for the Baton Rouge Water Co.
