In 2014, Singleton merged with Legendary Marine and planned for continued expansion in 2015. Sail & Ski added a portfolio manager in 2014 to manage its wide selection of boat brands and pre-owned models. Russell Marine purchased land and a building to open a new location near North Alabama's Smith Lake. Seattle Boat Company broke ground on its multi-million dollar Newport facility to expand its on-water facilities. Parks added a new showroom at its Okoboji Boat Works location, highlighting its water sports boats and accessories. Port Harbor challenged its crewmembers to rethink every aspect of the business, resulting in improved operations in sales, F&I and more. To improve internal communications, Strong's appointed an employee ombudsman to collect staff concerns and bring them to management. M&P Mercury implemented a quarterly Employee Engagement Survey program to measure job satisfaction and engagement levels. Pride developed its Customer Care Team to standardize and manage customer interactions in a professional and consistent manner.
