In 2014, Candlewood began to engage its third generation family members into the business. Cannons Marina rebranded and updated its logo in 2014 to give its marketing a more modern look. Causeway rethought its brokerage strategy, focusing on more realistic pricing to better manage property expenses. Charlotte Ski Boats remodeled an old fi re station for its new showroom location on the only road into an upscale golf community. Chessie added new lines of pontoon and deck boats, along with Yamaha engines, opening up new markets for the dealership. Using Lean and Six Sigma principles, Clark Marine made signifi cant improvements to effi ciency in its service department. Cleveland Boat Center opened a temporary holiday location at a local mall to expand market reach and increase visibility. Colony focused on growing and improving its events and engagement in 2014, helping to grow sales by 7 percent. Colorado Boat Center hired a new parts manager who improved organization and morale, helping to improve margins by 7.5 percent.
