Hampton Watercraft and Marine started a dedicated Facebook page for its MasterCraft offerings to better reach the water sports market. The dealership installed GPS on its entire fl eet, allowing the service team to better track and report service calls in real time. By focusing on tracking turnover and curtailments and improving sales training, Lake Union has improved margins by 160 basis points. Lake Viking added two new salespeople, resulting in improved effi ciency and a 37 percent increase in sales. Laurel hired an accomplished chef to improve food service at its marina galley, allowing it to expand into catering as well. Legend created a fully scripted boat delivery process, which has helped grow sales at orientation by 102 percent. Lodder's Marine created an eBay store to move parts and accessories that had been sitting in inventory for years, driving increased profi ts. After increasing training opportunities for its service staff, Maple City saw a nearly 10 percent increase in effi ciency. Marina Fortin focused its efforts on growing its social media presence, increasing followers by 400 percent and growing sales.
