THIS MONTH, FOR THE 11TH TIME, we recognize the Top 100 boat dealers for their success and dedication to the industry. And what success it has been. It's safe to say that the Top 100 dealers have not been this healthy for quite a long time. The Top 100 and Hall of Fame dealers accounted for $2.58 billion in total revenue – the highest total since of 2008. They sold more boats and engines, grew profi ts, improved effi ciency and increased CSI scores in 2014. That improved health was refl ected in all of this year's applicants for the Top 100. There were some truly diffi cult decisions and cuts for this year's list, as we had the best group of applicants in years. We recognize all of the Top 100 companies on this year's list, with the complete list starting on p. 28. Beyond that, you'll also fi nd profi les of several of the top companies, including Gordy's Lakefront Marine, which captured its second Dealer of the Year honor this year. When we make our selection for Dealer of the Year – and the entire Top 100 for that matter – one of the most important factors is continuous improvement. We've all learned during the last decade that what worked in the past isn't what works tomorrow. Any company that wants to succeed needs to keep moving forward, growing and investing in its people. And that is something at which Gordy's excels. After achieving Dealer of the Year honors the fi rst time, Gordy's followed that up with a record year for sales and profi ts in 2014. The dealership continues to grow and create opportunities for its team members, recognizing that they are the people who truly make any company excel. It's an attitude that is refl ected by all the Top 100 dealers and an example to which any dealer should aspire. Finally, I want to be sure to thank the group of manufacturers and service providers that help keep the the Top 100 program going. The Top 100 Leadership Alliance supports the Top 100 dealers – and all dealers across North America — throughout the year. So, a big "thank you" to GE Capital Commercial Distribution Finance, Manheim Specialty Auctions, Volvo Penta, Brunswick Dealer Advantage, Sunbrella Marine and the Marine Retailers Association of the Americas. A celebration of the best Boating Industry and the Leadership Alliance:
