privately held and operated by the Greinke
family — has become a major distributor
for Valero, Tesoro, Chevron, Shell, Phillips
66 and Castrol BP fuels and lubricants.
As the company grew, so did the
needs of its fleet. And with acquisition as
a significant growth driver, its fleet grew
with less uniformity than management
liked. Servicing equipment — not to men-
tion improved purchasing leverage — grew
to be a factor when management consid-
ered the benefits of identifying a single
equipment supplier.
