The dual-station capability of the X2 separately monitors, charges and maintains two 12- volt lead-acid VRLA, AGM, Gel or flooded batteries with one ac outlet. It is fully automatic, micropro- cessor-controlled and cannot overheat, spark or overcharge the connected batteries. With both consumer and commercial applications, versatility is also doubled. Consumers have several pieces of equipment with batteries that need to be in ready condition—such as automobiles, light trucks, boats, motorcycles, lawn tractors and ATVs. In addi- tion, this unique charger can be used on 24-volt com- mercial systems composed of two 12-volt batteries connected in series—like generators, transit and charter buses, heavy trucks, fork and scissor lifts and off-highway construction equipment. Like the Xtreme Charge, the X2 uses PulseTech's patented Pulse Technology which imposes high frequency pulsing cycles into batteries that work to dissolve and reduce both the number and size of sulfation deposits on battery plates. The result is 12V batteries with increased ability to accept, store and release energy, extending battery life. The quick-disconnect feature allows lugs to be permanently attached to the battery and easily switched between lugs and clamps. The status light column indicates when the unit power is on, pulsing and charging. The battery light column indicates the percentage of the battery's state of charge — 25%, 50%, 75% or 100%.
