It also works on any type of 12V lead acid battery in- cluding AGM (maintenance-free), gel, flooded cell and VRLA, both deep cycle and standard designs. Use it to recover heavily discharged and sulfated batteries considered dead or useless, whether still installed in or removed from equipment. The Xtreme recovery charger utilizes a five-stage process. First it determines if the battery is bad and not recoverable. Next during the charging process, the patented, microprocessor-controlled circuitry monitors and adjusts the charging current to allow the battery to reach its optimum bulk or float charge rate based on the voltage and amperage acceptance of the battery. Once the charge is complete, a float charge is provided to maintain the battery at 100%. LEDs indicate the status and state of charge. Dur- ing the recovery process high frequency pulsing cy- cles are introduced that reduce the number and size of sulfate deposits on battery plates, increasing the battery's ability to accept, store and release energy. Self-enclosed in a water-resistant heavy-duty case, the unit features innovative "in case" clamp, cable and power cord storage. One-year limited warranty. 100X500 XCR Battery Recovery Charger 12V AC CHARGE AND RECOVER: 16A Recovery Charger
