The new design contemporizes the brand for the millennial audience, the company says, while remaining true to Stoli's heritage. Upgrades include: a taller and more elegant bottle shape with an embossed brand "Stoli" logo on the neck; a new craft label texture, upgrade of the main Stolichnaya logo and nuance details throughout the design; and a revised premium paper front and back label. www.stoli.com COLLINGWOOD CANADIAN WHISKY BOTTLE UPDATE Collingwood has updated the bottle for its blended Canadian whisky. In an effort to improve overall function- ality and increase sustainability, the extra black cap from the previous packaging has been removed. The new front and back labels display a "premium appearance," the company says, and focus on the brand name. Collingwood is made at Canada's longest continuously owned and operated distillery, the company says, in the town of Collingwood, Ontario. It is created from water from the Georgia Bay and grains sourced primarily from Canadian farms. The whisky is fi nished with an extra maturation step with toasted Maplewood staves. $28.99 (750-ml.) www.collingwoodwhisky.com GLENLIVET NÀDURRA PEATED WHISKY CASK FINISH The Glenlivet has revealed its fi rst peated fl avor in over one hundred years. In the early 1800s, The Glenlivet distillers used peat smoke to dry the malted barley. This whisky would have had a rich, smoky fl avor. Reinterpreting this tradition, this new expression is ma- tured in American oak casks that previously held heavily peated scotch. The Glenlivet Nàdurra Peated Whisky Cask Finish has an aromatic smokiness, according to the company, complemented by spicy fruits. The smokiness is juxtaposed with the smooth, fruity house style of The Glenlivet Single Malt. $84.99 (750-ml.) www.theglenlivet.com TRES PAPALOTE MEZCAL Riviera Imports has launched Tres Papalote Mezcal, a 100% handcrafted premium mezcal. Tres Pa- palote Mezcal is distilled from the Wild Cupreata agave plant grown on the mountaintops of Guerrero, Mexico. It is unique to the mezcal category, the company says, with a slightly sweeter and less smoky fl avor than other mezcal varieties. Cheech Marin, American actor and comedian best known as one half of the Grammy-award winning duo Cheech & Chong, will serve as brand ambassa- dor. Tres Papalote Mezcal is available in three expressions of varying ABV. $45-48 (40% ABV), $60 (46% ABV), $85-$100 (50% ABV).
