22 • February 15, 2016 • Powersports Business ATV/UTV www.PowersportsBusiness.com Yamaha Motor Corp., USA is supporting the National Hunting and Fishing Day (NHF Day) again in 2016, giving away the all-new Yamaha Kodiak 700 ATV with electric power steering (EPS) through an online sweepstakes at www.yamahaoutdoors.com/nhfday. This is the ninth year Yamaha is sponsor- ing NHF Day and working to raise funds and awareness through the Assembled in USA Kodiak 700 sweepstakes. The giveaway is being promoted online and at NHF Day events nationwide. Outdoorsmen and women, 18-years-of-age or older, can enter to win by simply registering online through October. "Everyone at Yamaha is proud to con- tinue our support of NHF Day and its mis- sion by giving away an all-new Kodiak 700 ATV," said Steve Nessl, marketing manager for Yamaha's ATV/side-by-side group. "Part- nering with key organizations like NHF Day is integral to Yamaha's conservation efforts and outreach to outdoor recreational enthu- siasts, and this being our ninth year furthers that point." NHF Day serves as the most effective grass- roots effort ever taken to promote outdoor sports and conservation. Yamaha, through its relationships with organizations such as Ducks Unlimited, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Safari Club International, Buckmasters, Tread Lightly!, National Wild Turkey Federation and NHF Day, among others, is a continued supporter of conservation efforts for outdoor recreational enthusiasts. Scheduled annually on the fourth Saturday of September, this year the celebra- tion of hunting, fishing and conservation is set for Sept. 24. "We're delighted to have Yamaha as an important supporter of NHF Day for almost a decade now," said Misty Mitchell, director of conservation programs for America's Wild- life Museum and Aquarium in Springfield, Mo. — the official home of National Hunting and Fishing Day. "I'm excited for NHF Day entrants this year, as the all-new Kodiak 700 is an ATV that's great for the outdoors, and we're looking forward to another incredible turnout on the online sweepstakes and at our events in September." One entrant will win a 2016 Yamaha Kodiak 700 EPS in Hunter Green, a vehicle Assembled in USA featuring class-leading performance and value for the hard-working utility ATV customer. Total approximate retail value is $8,199. No purchase necessary. Sweepstakes ends 11:59 p.m. Pacific Stan- dard Time on Oct. 31. The winner will be determined by random drawing. STI UNVEILS NEW OUTBACK HT With the all-new Outback HT tires, STI Tire & Wheel brings multi-purpose and multi- terrain attitude to owners of mid-size utility off-road ATVs and UTVs. The new Outback HT tires feature a wider and flatter profile for stable and smooth performance. The familiar Outback tread style features a stepped-lug design that adds strength, plus dimpled lugs along the shoul- der that offer increased dirt-grabbing surfaces. The center "V" tread pattern uses solid-center blocks for ride comfort, long-life durability and sure-footed performance on hard sur- faces. It's a design that's built to last through long days of work or trail rides. The Outback HT is available in seven sizes from 23-inch up to 25-inch, making it ideal for a wide range of ATVs and small UTVs. Like all Outback tires, the HTs use a 6-ply bias carcass and a built-in rim guard for durability without adding weight. Launched in 2013, the Outback tire line also includes the Outback AT, XT and XLT tires in sizes from 25-inch through 28-inch, plus the mud-performing Outback MAX tires with their deep lugs and sizing from 28-inch up to 34-inch. STI Tire & Wheel experts designed the complete Outback line to cover the in-demand sizes and fitment applications for today's ATV and UTV owners. Suggested retail prices for the new Outback HT tires range from $83 to $117.
