30 March 2016 Landscape and Irrigation www.landscapeirrigation.com PRODUCT NEWS John Deere adds Nursery Fork to Worksite Pro attachments lineup Operators can tackle a variety of material- handling tasks with the new John Deere Nursery Fork attachment. The Nursery Fork (NF44) is the latest addition to the ever-expanding lineup of Worksite Pro attachments, and is optimized to work with select John Deere E- and D-Series skid-steers, compact track loaders (CTLs) and most competitive models. The Nursery Fork boasts many key features that help drive additional productivity from a skid-steer or compact track loader, including: Ability to transport and easily position up to 44-inch balled or container trees and shrubs, along with rocks and light boulders; A 3,000-pound carrying capacity and 54-inch fork opening; One stationary arm and a second arm that has the ability to swing open and then close onto the load; A 6-inch tread plate that firmly grips bags, boxes, plants and rocks; An optional pressure-control kit that limits the arm-closing pressure, reducing the possibility of damage to the materials. "Like all Worksite Pro attachments, our new Nursery Fork was designed to optimize performance and productivity," said Gregg Zupancic, product marketing manager, John Deere Construction & Forestry. "Whether you're moving plants, trees, boulders or boxes, the Nursery Fork is an ideal tool to help contractors move materials quickly and easily." Briggs & Stratton Commercial Power expands Commercial Series engine line The Commercial Series V-Twin engine line by Briggs & Stratton Commercial Power is expanding to offer a more versatile lineup of entry-level commercial engines. The lineup will now include nine horsepower options ranging from 16 to 27 gross horsepower in three engine models with displacements of 656cc, 724cc, or 810cc. Specifically designed for high-debris applica- tions, the Commercial Series V-Twin engines offer a five-step cyclonic debris management system. Longer filter intervals, tool-less covers, debris inspection ports, drop-in air filters and a spring-loaded snap are all designed to make it easier to keep dirt and debris — major con- tributors to engine failure — out. A new recoil starter option helps ensure no-hassle starts, so work can begin immediately. "The new Commercial Series engine lineup gives customers an expanded range of power solutions for more applications, including commercial walk-behind mowers and concrete surfacing equipment," said Jim Cross, marketing manager for Briggs & Stratton Commercial Power. "The Commercial Series engines are made to start on command and combat debris-related problems that are prevalent on many jobsites so contractors can keep their equipment running stronger all day long without interruption." Commercial Series V-Twin engines are backed by a two-year commercial limited warranty and the industry's strongest service network — with more than 12,000 authorized dealers nationwide. Willow Creek Paving Stones introduces Eurostone pavers Willow Creek Paving Stones introduced Eurostone pavers, the newest paver product in its line of durable and attractive paving stones. Eurostone pavers feature the texture of natural stone and are available in five colors: Mocha, Bleu, Crème, Black and Brik. As a classic solution for walkways, driveways, patios and other outdoor spaces, Eurostone pavers are suitable for both traditional and permeable applications. Permeable applications are ideal for municipalities with residential and commercial impervious footprint limits and are a best practice in storm- water management, reducing runoff while naturally infiltrating rainwater into the ground. Eurostone pavers are engineered 7cm thick to meet the highest performance standards and aesthetic demands of contractors and landscape architects. Eurostone pavers come in three shapes to create easy-to-install patterns for a random, natural appearance. Small is approximately 5 inch x 6 inch, medium is approximately 5 inch x 9 inch, and large is approximately 5 inch by 13 inch. Choose an easy-to-install repeating pattern or combine the three shapes in dozens of ways for a variety of patterns.
