EAT & DRINK g " S l á i n t e ! " SAZ'S STATE HOUSE 40th anniversary celebration kicks off The folks at Saz's mark a milestone in March when they kick off a 40th anni- versary celebration. In 1976, Milwaukee native Steve "Saz" Sazama opened Saz's State House Restaurant in a historic building nestled beside the railroad tracks at 55th & State. Famous for great food and service, Saz's State House today is the cornerstone for a hospitality group of six divi- sions that includes catering, festivals and retail barbecue products. Saz's is toasting to #40YearsOfTheFinest throughout the entire year beginning in March with a full month of special events and pricing! Thursdays in March from 6-10pm, the fun includes live music by "throwback" bands, the return of favorite bartenders and prize drawings. Every day in March, drink specials include 40-cent MillerCoors tappers at the famous Round Bar from open until close. Guests can dig into food specials like the Monday through Thursday offering of two full rack dinners of Saz's award-winning BBQ baby back ribs (with choice of side) for the celebratory price of $40 at the State House. Check in often at sazs.com for updates and more. FIRE PIT SPORTS BAR & GRILL March Madness plus St. Patrick's Day The Fire Pit, located inside the Potawatomi Hotel & Casino, is a favorite for watching sports with its 34 HD TV screens vis- ible from all areas of the room. But during March's college basketball playoff games the excitement peaks. Top-notch food and drink also make this the ideal headquarters for fans. The Fire Pit also is a great place to head on St. Patrick's Day, when it could be re- named "The Blarney Pit." The restaurant serves up holiday- inspired breakfast favorites like green eggs & ham. Lunch and dinner options in- clude corned beef and cabbage, Guinness Irish Stew and Irish apple cake. keymilwaukee.com 43 MORE MARCH MERRYMAKING
