PRODUCTS & PACKAGING Alizé, the passion fruit liqueur imported by Kobrand from France, has added Alizé COCO to its line of vodka-based passion- fruit liqueurs (now numbering seven flavors). A combination of natural coconut and passion fruit, Alizé COCO is made from fresh and natural ingredients that deliver a slightly sweet finish, the company says. Alizé COCO can be enjoyed as an ingredient in a wide range of cocktails, or on the rocks. Alizé COCO is 20% ABV with a suggested retail of $19.99 for 750 ml and $24.99 for 1 liter and will be available at mass market and liquor stores nation- wide beginning in June. With the tremen- dous success of its line of pre-mixed Margarita, Sangria and White Cranberry Cosmo, Skinnygirl Cocktails has become one of the fastest-growing brands in the spirits industry. Now, it has launched three additions to the Skinnygirl portfolio: Skinnygirl, The Wine Collection; Skinnygirl Vodka with Natural Flavors; and Skinnygirl Piña Colada. Skinnygirl, The Wine Collection includes a California White Blend, a California Red Blend and a California Rosé, each com- prising 100 calories per 5 oz. serving, with a suggested retail price of $14.99. Skinnygirl Vodka with Natural Flavors includes a line of four lower-calo- rie, naturally flavored vodkas: Bare Naked, Tangerine, Island Coconut and Cucumber. The vodkas have a suggested retail of $21.99. And Skinnygirl Piña Colada boasts under 100 calories per 4 oz. serving. Its suggested retail is $14.99. Following a French introduction earli- er this year, Pernod Ricard has launched its Aberlour 12 Year Old Non Chill Filtered expression in the U.S. The 48% ABV whisky is non chill filtered giving the mouth-feel increased body, while retaining the distinctive characteristics of Aberlour, derived from its double maturation in StateWays www.stateways.com May/June 2012 sherry butts and bourbon casks, according to the company. Arberlour 12 Year Old Non Chill Filtered is available for a suggested retail price of $59.99 for a 750 ml bottle. Trinchero Family Estates has debuted the 2010 Ménage à Trois Pinot Grigio. The popular brand, which initially marketed Red, White and Rosé blends, recently also came out with a Chardonnay and a Moscato. Now, they are adding to the line with the 2010 Pinot Grigio, which is cold-fermented in steel tanks, avoiding malolactic fermentation, resulting in a wine high- lighting tropical fruit aromas, rich fruit flavors and balanced acidity. Suggested retail is $9.99. Seagram's Gin has introduced a new flavor to its portfolio of flavored Gins: Seagram's Pineapple Twisted Gin. The new flavor will launch in retail stores in June, join- ing Seagram's Gin Grape Twisted, Raspberry Twisted, Apple Twisted, Lime Twisted and Orange Twisted Gin flavors. To support the launch at retail, the brand will feature custom- designed POS materials as well as hosting sampling events (where legal) to generate trial in select accounts throughout the country. Seagram's Pineapple Twisted Gin (70 proof) will be available in 50 ml, 375 ml, 750 ml and 1.75 liter sizes and will retail for a suggested price of $11.99/750ml.
