DA TELINE Business Briefs The National Alcohol Beverage Control Association (NABCA) has introduced a new logo for the organi- zation, intended to create "a look and feel that positions the association as a credible resource for information and discussions on issues related to alcohol policy and control systems," the NABCA says. The new graphic identi- ty can also be adapted to, for example, honor its upcoming 75th Anniversary….Once again underlining the importance of developing digital social media applications throughout the beverage alcohol industry – from retailers to suppliers – Diageo's Captain Morgan Original Spiced Rum has released Captain's Conquest, a mobile social game that rewards players for real-life exploration, adventure and social influ- ence by transforming cities into the open seas and Captain Morgan's "Captain's Conquest" mobile app. company says. The Captain's Conquest mobile game is available for free download in both Android Market and the Apple App Store. The goal of the game is to rise through the ranks — from a stowaway to the captain of your own powerful fleet — ruling the high seas and reaping rewards through skilled digital game- play and adventurous behavior in the real world.
