Titan parts are made by one of Titan's share- holders: Arling- ton Machine and Tool Co. (AMT), a U.S. manu- facturer with state-of-the-art machining and equipment that is located in an 80,000-sq ſt . facility in Fairfi eld, New Jersey. AMT is ISO 9000:2008 and EN/JISQ/AS9100:2004 certifi ed, making Titan the only hydraulic tool company that actually manufactures and assembles its own tools. Tools are made to the tightest toler- ances in the industry. Titan cycle tests each tool under load as a quality control check. Th e fi nal QC check is calibration, with each tool calibrated and supplied with certifi cation of accuracy to N.I.S.T. standards. Titan's NEW Super Th in Line (STL) tool gets in the tightest places and has the power to perform the job quickly and safely. Nice combination! Titan has asked several STL end users to evaluate the tool; all have given it a superior rating. Since the end of last year, Titan has sold hun- dreds of these tools. Most were bought by companies manufacturing and servicing Blow-Out Preventers (BOPs) in the U.S. Those using Titan's STL have been able to save time, effort and money, as their maintenance person- nel are able to break loose nuts that often required hand tools or nut splitters. 21
