The blends consist of añejo tequila, differing in age from one to two years, and a proportion of limited-production extra añejo, including fi ve-year-old extra añejo. The fi rst batch is available in select U.S. markets, and features añejo tequila aged two years and blended with limited-production three-and-a-half-year-old and fi ve-year-old extra añejo. It combines cinnamon and vanilla with premium whiskey to create a cocktail in a shot glass that can be shot, sipped or poured over ice. Notes of cinna- mon and vanilla combine to create a hint of French toast. $6.99 per three-pack. www.liqsshot.com SMITHWORKS VODKA Smithworks Vodka is the result of a partnership between Pernod Ricard and country music super- star Blake Shelton. Made with corn from Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma and water from Lake Fort Smith, Smithworks is distilled three times and char- coal fi ltered for a smooth taste and clean fi nish. Smithworks is fi nished and bottled with in Fort Smith, Arkansas, and named after the team there. Currently available in select U.S. markets. $19.99 per 750-ml. bottle. smithworksvodka.com QUINTA DE LA ROSA PORTS Portuguese winery Quinta De La Rosa has unveiled their port vintage lineup for the new year. Lote 601 Ruby Porto is blended in vats, where the wine has an average age of between 3-4 years old. It is not too sweet, and should be consumed within 2-3 years of bottling. The ABV is 19.8%. Tonel 12 Ten Year Tawny Porto is aged in 550-liter oak casks. Flavors include dried fruit, fi gs, honey and almonds, and a touch of mandarin on the fi nish. It should be consumed within 2-3 years of bottling. It has a 20% ABV. The 20 Year Old Tawny is an elegant port, the company says, with fl avors of dry fruits and liqueur. It is on the slightly dryer side. Hand-picked grapes are trodden foot in granite lagares. Aged in 550-liter oak casks. It has a 20% ABV. $19, $36, $44 per 750-ml. bottles, respectively www.quintadelarosa.com PEYCHAUD'S APERITIVO Antoine Amedie Peychaud began producing his bitters in a New Orleans apothecary more than 150 years ago, eventually becoming the lead bartender of the Sazerac Coffeehouse, where he mixed simple cocktails with his bitters. Today, the Sazerac Company has announced a new spirit "with Peychaud's belief in quality, simplicity and mixability in mind," the company says. Peychaud's Aperitivo is 22 proof and mixes with a wide variety of spirits and mixers. It has launched in New Orleans and will be spreading to other markets in spring, 2016. $19.99 for a 750-ml. bottle. www.sazerac.com TRAVELER IPA SHANDY Traveler IPA Shandy blends craft American shandy with the hop fl avors and aromas of an American IPA. It is made with real grapefruit and seven citrusy hops.
