Saturated Stones
Rich hues speak of glamour

ich, deep, saturated hues are adding pops of elegance to styles from the very traditional to the very contemporary. That's not to say "jewel toned" stones such
as amethyst, ruby, emerald, and sapphire every really go out of vogue, but a longing for a return to the glamour temporarily lost to the economy has seen eyes turning
increasingly to these more regal stones. Other richly hued options like the London blue topaz, gar-
net, even the uniquely hued sugilite, are scene stealers one and all and showing up increasingly as alternatives to more premium stones, especially when larger pieces are in order. There's a sincerity to a stone colored so deeply you see noth- ing else; such pieces command attention wherever the wearer takes them.
