Lamprey uses the rig "to haul trailer loads full of American- made saddles and other equestrian supplies," says Samara Dulik, Pro Custom office manager. The unit also occasionally hauls the touring operation of Lamprey's son, Frankie Justin Lamprey, and his band, Roughstock. The elder Lamprey began work with Pro Custom on April Fools' Day 2015. "Throughout the course of conversations during his estimate, our team did what it does best, and that's to get to know the customer" and his vision for the job, Dulik says. In Lamprey's case, he wanted a Western style incorporating black and copper. "The design was finalized within a week" says Dulik, noting that depending on changes and adjustments, this phase can take a good bit longer. The job was completed by the 23rd – not bad for a turnaround. The rear of Lamprey's tractor continues the same detailed paint scheme.
