Committed to providing customers with the best quality construction equip- ment, HHI debuted 10 new Stage IV regulation-compliant excavators, ranging from 14-ton to 52-ton, and 5 HL series wheel loaders, ranging from 158 bp to 380 bp. HX series excavators, named such to stand for "Hyundai Excavators," have the greatest extent of improve- ments on the existing Hyundai machines. e most signifi cant feature of all the HX series excavators is Stage IV compli- ance, which enables them to generate 90 percent less NOx emission than their predeces- sors. HX series also off ers operators an array of intel- ligent electronic support on the control panel, such as Eco Gauge Guidance, which makes it easy for operators to monitor the status of engine torque and fuel effi ciency using colors and gauge level, and Intelligent Power Control (IPC), which automatically controls the fuel pump fl ow according to work environments. e Floating Mode feature automatically optimizes boom operations according to the shape of the terrain on which the excavators operate, and the smart start button and haptic switch also increase operators' convenience. In terms of safety, HX excavators are equipped with the Advanced Around View Monitoring (AAVM) system, which provides operators with fi eld of vision for all directions. anks to the AAVM system, the operators can detect people or dangerous objects within a fi ve-meter range. e HL series wheel loaders also feature 7-10 percent improved fuel effi ciency with engines conforming to Stage IV emission standard. www.hyundai.com, 4/16 Bauma 2016: Hyundai Heavy Industries Introduces 15 Earthmovers Meeting EU Stage IV Emission Regulation e HX Series haptic controller allows navigation of the 8-inch monitor and provides feedback through vibrations and pulses.
