The video covers financing options including: • Contractor-offered financing • Credit cards • Mortgage options • Home equity improvement loans • Line of credit • Government long-term, low-interest loans. Not only is the video helpful to water well contractors, it is something water well industry manufacturers and sup- pliers can provide to their customers—including contractors—to help stimulate domestic well construction and renovation. Because of the size of the video file, it is recommended the video be made available using the follow- ing link via computers, smartphones, tablets, or other devices that connect with the web:www.youtube.com/watch?v=m QK9UvHnriQ&feature=youtu.be. "We encourage you to link to this video from your web- site, share the link on social media, email the link to your customers, and click on the link while meeting with cus- tomers," says Cliff Treyens, NGWA director of general public outreach. You can learn more about well financing at www.Well Owner.org under "Find a Contractor". Groundwater Market Data in United States Can Be Accessed on NGWA Site To assist researchers, NGWA has compiled groundwater market data from each U.S. state to facilitate significant measures of groundwater use and end-market segments available from a variety of U.S. government sources. The categories to select from for each state are: commer- cial, domestic, industrial, irrigation, livestock, mining, public supply, and thermoelectric. NGWA has developed this site as experimental and will update and refine the site over time as use warrants. To access this data site, visit www.NGWA.org and click on "Industry market data" under the Professional Resources tab. Track Regulatory and Legislative Issues Affecting Groundwater Industry To help members track state-specific legislative issues that affect groundwater, NGWA and Congressional Quarterly Inc. created StateTrack, which can be located under the "Advocacy/Awareness" tab at www.NGWA.org. The tracking tools take you beyond just policy and lets you follow issues as they move through your state's legisla- tive bodies and regulatory agencies. 9 24 196 NEWS FROM THE NATIONAL GROUND WATER ASSOCIATION Current and past lecturers from the McEllhiney Lecture Series in Water Well Technology attended the Minnesota Ground Water Association Spring Conference on April 20 in St. Paul, Minnesota.
