Solinst's Depth-Discrete Monitoring System Provides Accuracy and Flexibility The Solinst Waterloo multilevel groundwater monitoring system is used to obtain samples, hydraulic head, and permeability meas- urements from many discretely isolated zones in a single borehole. A number of systems at one site provide detailed 3-D groundwater information, enabling improved decision-making and more accurate site assessments. Waterloo Systems have a modular design, giving excellent site and appli- cation flexibility, allowing placement of packers, ports, sampling pumps, and pressure transducers exactly where needed. The engineered seals and dedi- cated monitoring capabilities have been used to 1000 feet. Systems can be installed in 3- and 4-inch boreholes or larger. Options are available to suit bedrock and overburden applications. www.solinst.com Constant Water System Offers Backup to Water Well Users During Power Outages Thirty million homes in the United States re- ceive their wate r from water wells, and all of these homes suffer from the same water well shortfall: They lose water when they lose power. Now, Constant Wa ter LLC has developed a new product that assures water well users will have water during a power outage, well- pump failure, or if on a pu blic water system, during a water main break. Constant Water is an automatic backup water system that provides 40- 120 gallons of freshwat er, under pres- sure, to a home or business. In the automatic mode, Constant Water senses the loss of power and automati- cally provides f reshwater to every sink, shower, tub, and toilet. www.constantwater.com Featured PRODUCTS Flomatic's Flo-E-Centric Plug Valves Comply with ANSI/AWWA Flomatic Corp. introduces the new Model 5400 Flo-E-Centric plug valves. The plug valves are round-port eccen- tric plug valves designed in compli- ance with ANSI/AWWA C517-09. The body, bonnet, and plug (NBR encapsulated) are constructed of ASTM A536 grade 65-45-12 ductile iron and flanges are rated ANSI class 150#. All fasteners and washers are stainless steel. The power of the Pentek XE Series motor was the key to allowing Pentair engineers to add additional stages and achieve increased per- formance. Increased staging across many of Pentair's ½ hp and 1½ hp pumps means customers can now enjoy greater performance, with heads to 800 feet and flows up to 27 gallons. www.pentair.com 94 June 2016 WWJ US Warehouse: Dallas TX | Australasian Warehouse: Sydney, NSW kwik-ZIP® is a registered trademark of kwik-ZIP Pty Ltd Certifi ed to ISO 9001: 2000 CENTRALIZER & SPACER SYSTEMS FOR THE DRILLING & CIVIL CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRIES The COST-EFFICIENT and HASSLE-FREE way to centralize all your casing, screen and drop pipe applications. • Suits diameters 0.70" (18mm) up to 63" (1600mm) and above • Multiple bow heights-numerous ID-OD combinations • Curved profi le for easy insertion into borehole/casing • Integrated rubber pads (HD Series) to prevent slippage • Rapid and simple on-site assembly • No metal parts USA Sales Offi ce (Dallas TX) 972-790-0160 For product prices and ordering information please contact sales@kwikzip.com Or visit us online for details of your nearest distributor at: w w w . k w i k z i p . c o m "These centralizers have provided excellent centering capability and a resulting grout job that meets all specifications. …It's a good product and after recent failures with stainless centralizers, I am real happy to see a product with good strength properties available for contractors to use."
