world fence news • june 2016 • 81 Two unique products anchor CPSG booth at IDA Expo 2016 Controlled Products Systems Group (CPSG) utilized its exhibit at the IDA Expo 2016 in Las Vegas to showcase new products as well as its full line of door and gate automation equipment. The IDA Expo is a major trade exhibition which businesses from all over the world attend to see the latest, most innovative products and to net- work with the industry's top vendors. "This event was a great oppor- tunity to show off new products and, more important, build relationships," said Zach Eichenberger, CPSG prod- uct manager. "We were excited to have two unique products on display in our booth this year." DoorBird anchored one corner of the CPSG booth, showing off the latest in Wi-Fi based voice and video communications. Sandra Finn and Bernd Mueller from Germany represented DoorBird and its residential and commercial product lines. DoorBird displayed product and also had units available to purchase from CPSG. Jonathan Brinkman of Gatearms. com was the other bookend, demon- strating a unique fire station product that signals firetruck drivers when the station garage doors are closed, open- ing, or fully open. Gatearms.com's other featured product was its best-in-class LED illu- minated barrier arm kits that fit a vari- ty of manufacturers' barrier operators. Both products were well received by show attendees with several buying DoorBird's video doorbell on the spot, reported Eichenberger. "Commercial door installers left with information and literature that will allow them to approach their lo- cal municipalities with the benefits of Gatearms.com's fire house door LED warning product," he said, adding that all of the products from DoorBird and Gatearms.com are available through CPSG's 32 branches. "This is the third year in a row that we've had a booth at IDA and we've already reserved our space for next year," said John Weaver, CPSG regional door product sales manager. "Controlled Products has seen tre- mendous growth in commercial and residential door sales and accessories. We've also been able to help our door customers enter into the gate automa- tion business because of our training seminars and branch level expertise on gate operators and access controls."
