COURSE ANNIVERSARY REVIEW BY GORD MONTGOMERY BEAR CREEK Celebrating Twenty Years As The "Go-To" Course In Grande Prairie The Convenient, Casual and Comfortable Golf Course in Grande Prairie, Alberta Canada The golf season in Alberta can be short enough and when you have to deal with hard to get tee times or expensive green fees, that can make it even more difficult to get in a good number of rounds. That's where the Bear Creek Golf Course comes into play by giving their customers the longest season in the community and doing so in a budget conscious manner. But while the yardages may be almost identical, the two sides aren't, Lasell continued. "It's like two different golf courses out there. On the back nine, you have to be a whole lot straighter than you do on the front nine – there you can slice or hook a shot and still have a second shot. Do that on the back nine and you're not going to have that second shot," given the trees that hinder an easy recovery. Continued On Next Page ALL IMAGES COURTESY BEAR CREEK
