The prize is presented annually by the Art Design and Urban Studies and The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design. The customizable drum roaster uses quartz heating elements to roast up to one pound of green coffee. The interior lighting and quiet operation make it easy to see and hear the roast stages.
