According to AEC, the power unit includes extra-long 7 ft. fi eld replace- able cables and can be set on the ground and easily reaches the battery in most vehicles. The 12-volt 22Ah sealed AGM Battery delivers 1700 peak amps and 360 CCA of cold crank power for even the harshest conditions, and the KS401 fea- tures a digital LED display with internal battery state of charge readings as well as a 12-volt power port and USB power port, AEC says. Multiple sensors, former dealer only parts Two heavy-duty alternators Prestolite Electric has introduced two families of Leece-Neville heavy-duty alternators. The new IdlePro and IdlePro Extreme high-effi ciency/high-output alterna- tors feature exclusive technologies the company says help extend battery life and increase vehicle uptime by en- hancing electrical system and engine performance. Prestolite says each Leece-Neville IdlePro and IdlePro Extreme alternator also includes Prestolite Electric's Isolated Ground Technology, which protects en- gines from potentially severe electrolytic damage caused by stray voltage.
