Turbocharged step deck
Eric Carnahan drives this 2004 Peterbilt 379 owned
by Heather Hutto of La Vernia, Texas-based Hutto
Transportation to haul equipment, steel, building materials,
pipe and concrete forms on a step deck across the country.
The truck is powered by a Cat C15 single turbo set at 550
hp, an 18-speed and 3:55 rears. It also has an 18-inch cus-
tom bumper, vinyl floors in the cab and sleeper, a headache
rack with a low-profile LED light bar and Minimizer fenders.
