7 Industry Focus One newcomer and four past fi nalists have earned nominations for the 2016 Truck Parts & Service Dis- tributor of the Year award, sponsored by Minimizer and Meritor. Earning its fi rst nomination this year is Action Truck Parts. The other fi nalists for the 15 th annual award include Blaine Brothers (past nominations 2014, 2015), Harman HVS (2015), Long Island Truck Parts (2013) and Weldon Parts (2011). More than three dozen distributors earned at least one nomination during the open nomination period for this year's award, with the fi nalists pulling in the most votes from the industry at large. Five past winners and three previous fi nalists were among the other businesses nominated for the 2016 award. Each Distributor of the Year fi nalist will be profi led in Truck Parts & Service. The 2016 Distributor of the Year will be awarded by Truck Parts & Service, Meritor and Minimizer at Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week (HDAW) 2017 next January in Las Vegas. W W W . For the past decade, Mahle Aftermar- ket has held the rights to distribute these gaskets under the Victor Reinz name in North America. Victor Reinz sealing products, engineered and manufactured by Dana, or to Dana specifi cation, are distributed by Dana in all other global aftermarkets, the company says. "Our expertise and knowledge of the market will again allow our customers in North America to get as close to Dana as possible. This means better service and technical support, and a more cost- effective solution by eliminating a party in the distribution process," says Dwayne Matthews, president, Dana Power Tech- nologies Group.
