Locate utilities with ease
McLaughlin's Vermeer Verifier G3 utility locator uses
a new combination screen, eliminating the need to toggle
between two screens and allowing operators to capital-
ize on both the accuracy of peak mode and user-friendly
null mode. The G3 model has dual functionality, which
means contractors can engage the semiautomatic gain
in congested, urban jobsites where signal distortion is a
common challenge, or revert to the manual gain feature
when working in less congested areas. The locator has an
automatic depth and current measurement index (CMI),
which automatically displays the estimated depth and
CMI while walking over a utility line without the operator
having to press a button. A new compass icon provides a
visual representation of the utility's position in reference
to the receiver.
