Castrol Isolube was field tested at two national heavy‑duty construction companies. The field test was designed to test the following criteria: oxidation resistance, wear protection, low temperature performance and seal compatibility. In compressor units at one of the sites, several candidate fluids were tested. Castrol Isolube was pitted against a commercial mineral fluid and a commercial synthetic (PAO) fluid in most of these tests.
