by Kerry Clines | Contributing Editor PLANT PROFILE 14 AGGREGATES MANAGER / September 2016 The primary structure at Luck Stone's Bull Run Quarry, which stands 80 feet tall from the top of the crusher to the floor below, is built into a slot in the highwall that was blasted out for its placement. Material makes its way up from the primary in the pit to the surge pile and secondary plant for pro-cessing. When the contractor poured the concrete for the primary, he stamped the quarry's name and the date the structure was built into the side of the structure.
