Networking News Leia McCumber has started in-home personal training with Serious Fitness, a personal training company specializing in at-home workout routines for moms. Welton Enterprises, a Madison-based real estate development and management company, announced that Joanna Burish (left) has been pro- moted to CEO. Burish has been with the company since 2008, when she joined as director of finance and development. Alderman Shiva Bidar-Sielaff of the 5th district was unanimously elected to serve as president of the Madison City Council. Bidar-Sielaff served as council president pro tem for the past year and has been on the council since 2009. Local women and businesses on the move Lopez Law Group, a leading immigration law office in Madison, has joined the law firm of Murphy Desmond S.C. as an immigration practice group. Lopez Immigration Law includes attorney Glorily A. Lopez, associate attorney Raluca Vais-Ottosen, clerk Maryam Ghayyad and a paralegal staff. Medical Aesthetician Amanda Reed recently opened Amanda Reed Skincare in Fitchburg. Reed specializes in skin care analysis, aging, sun damage and problem skin. Sheila Murray (right) has joined First Choice Dental as patient rela- tions manager, where she will serve as the primary liaison for patient care and ser- vices. Murray brings with her more than 15 years of experience in the dental industry. Local Women Come Together to Improve Life for the Elderly The Wisconsin Women's Network has announced the nine women selected as 2012 Women's Policy Institute Fellows. Madisonians Fatou Ceesay, Chris Moore, Peggy Rynearson and Kia Stearn are among the fellows who will be trained in public policy to advocate for Wisconsin's elderly community.
