Distilled by the beaches of Goa in India, Paul John Indian Single Malt Whisky is crafted from six-row barley grains grown at the foothills of the Himalayas, which is responsible for the smokiness of Paul John Whisky, the company says. Made from 100% Weber Blue agave plants 7-10 years old, harvested in the highlands of Los Altos in Jalisco, Alacran XA is matured 40 months in American Oak Bourbon barrels. First fl avors upon the palate are fruity and oak, followed by a cognac fi nish, the company reports. $49.99 per 750-ml. bottle www.autenticoalacran.com CAMP ROBBER The newest release from Tamworth Distilling is a blend of Bourbon, apple brandy, apple cider and caramelized sugar. A 16-month old Bour- bon made from organic corn and rye serves as the base, which is combined with apple brandy and fresh apple cider. Camp Robber will only be available in limited quantities at the distillery in Tamworth and online through Warehouse Wine + Spirits. $45 per 750-ml. bottle www.tamworthdistilling.com LOCH LOMOND DISTILLERY 'ISLAND COLLECTION' Hardy USA, Ltd. is now importing the Scotland's Loch Lomond Distilleries' "Island Collection" of three single-malt whiskies: Inchmurrin 12 Year Old (SRP: $84.99 per 750-ml. bottle), Inchmurrin 18 Year Old ($159.99) and Inchmurrin Madeira Wood Finish ($94.99). Each is 46% ABV and non-chill fi ltered. www.lochlomondgroup.com HOPE ESTATE FAMILY VINEYARDS Hope Estate Family Vineyards of Hunter Valley in southwest Aus- tralia has announced three new bottles. The Ripper Shiraz 2013 is 100% Shiraz, aged in 50% French oak and 50% America, 14.6% ABV, and retails for $17.99 per 750-ml. bottle. The Basalt Block Shiraz 2014 is 100% Shiraz, aged in new and old French hogsheads for 13 months, 13% ABV, and retailing for $14.99. The Mountain Wash Chardonnay 2014 is 100% Chardonnay aged 10 months in new and old French hogs- heads, 13% ABV, $14.99. www.winesellersltd.com HACIENDA ARAUCANO Located in the Lolol Valley, a sub-region of Chile's Colchagua Valley, Hacienda Araucano has recently introduced four new wines into the American market. The Araucano Carmenere 2014 is 100% Carmenere, 14.3% ABV, and retails for a suggested price of $12.99 per 750-ml. bottle. The Araucano Cabernet Sauvignon 2015 is 100% Cab Sauv, 14.5% ABV, and $12.99 per 750-ml. bottle. The Araucano Pinot Noir 2014 is 100% Carmenere, 14% ABV. The Araucano Clos De Lolol 2013 is 55% Syrah, 19% Carmenere, 15% Cab Franc and 9% Cab Sauv, 14.6% ABV, $19.99. www.winesellersltd.com ALPHA ESTATE Alpha Estate is located in the heart of the Amyndeon, a wine region in the Northwest of Greece. Alpha Estate Xinomavro 2012 is 100% Xinomavro and retails for $27 per 750-ml. bottle. The bou- quet is of leather and spices (vanilla, pepper, clove), the company says, with hints of ripe blackberry. Alpha Estate Xinomavro 2012 is 13.5% ABV, with 5,000 cases produced. $22 per 750-ml. bottle www.alpha-estate.com KIR-YIANNI RAMNISTA 2012 Kir-Yianni Ramnista 2012 is 100% Xinomavro and 13.5% ABV. Aromas include rich red fruit aromas, such as strawberry and sour cherry on a background of tomato and vanilla, the company says. Kir-Yianni was established in 1997 by Yiannis Boutaris, a leading fi gures in the Greek wine industry. $27 per 750-ml. bottle. www.kiryianni.gr/wines/ramnista/ BARR AN UISCE Niche Import Co. has announced two Irish whiskeys from Barr an Uisce: Wicklow Rare and 1803. Wicklow Rare is Barr an Uisce's signature blend matured in fi rst-fi ll Bourbon barrels and fi nished in Oloroso casks for 6 months. The suggested retail price is $49.99 per 750-ml. bottle. 1803 is a 10-year-old single malt Irish whiskey that retails for $79.99 per 750-ml. bottle. Both whis- keys are matured in fi rst-fi ll bourbon casks and cut with water from the Jones' family well in Redcross, County Wicklow, the company says. www.barranuisce.com
