Featured PRODUCTS Ergodyne Announces New Tool Tethering Kits Ergodyne has announced a new addition to its Squids Lanyards Line. Now, workers can choose a tool tether- ing kit to take with them for work at heights and know they've got exactly what they need. Too often, workers are left guessing which safety solution will most effec- tively prevent dropped objects. But that's a dangerous game to play when lives are at stake. These kits were created to give more convenient and confident at-heights safety. Each of the six kits comes complete with two to three Squids products. www.ergodyne.com Goulds Develops Water Technology ProPak Kits ProPak Kits from Goulds Water Technology are a convenient packaged solution for constant residential water pressure. The ProPak kits include a three-phase motor, the Aquavar SOLO2 variable speed controller with trans- ducer, and the GWT GS water end pump. The packaged kit provides quick and sim- ple installation and is available with several HP options for maximum versatility and efficiency. The Aquavar SOLO2 Controller boasts a new, more versatile user inter- face board and an updated transducer that is better protected from transient power surges. Real time feedback from the transducer enables the drive to adjust to conditions and maintain constant pressure. www.goulds.com Nidec Drives Reduce Energy Consumption, Extend Equipment Life Nidec's new AD1000 high-perfor- mance variable frequency drives for water applications can reduce energy consumption by automatically adjust- ing to changing operating conditions. The AD1000 can also reduce startup stresses on the system, all while monitoring system performance and pro- tecting the motor. While "plug and play" for standard applications, the AD1000's flexible, modular design can also be easily configured to meet the most challenging applications. By matching a U.S. Motors brand inverter duty motor, the drive's war- ranty will increase to match that of the motor. This can extend the drive's warranty up to 36 months from date of manufacturing at no additional charge. www.nidec.com Twitter @WaterWellJournl WWJ October 2016 69
