86 The Great American Trucking Show EDUCATION Four free one-hour Partners in Business seminars will be held at the Great American Trucking Show this weekend. The seminars will teach owner-operators how to improve their bottom line by reducing costs and mak- ing better business deci- sions. Partners in Business is produced via a joint ef- fort between Overdrive and ATBS, the nation's largest owner-operator business services firm. Seminar attendance will also include a free Partners in Business manual, a $20 value. The manual covers a variety of practical financial tips, tax and equipment management strategies and more. The seminars will be offered twice daily on both Friday, Aug. 26 and Saturday, Aug. 27. Friday sessions will be held from 1:30-2:30 p.m. and 3:30- 4:30 p.m.; and Saturday sessions will be held from 1-2 p.m. and 3-4 p.m. Saturday's seminars will feature trucking radio host Kevin Rutherford, who is a former small-fleet owner and owner-operator ac- countant.
