Home ice for the Admirals this year is the UWM Panther Arena, a more intimate setting than the BMO Harris Bradley Center where they played in the past. For additional information and tickets, visit milwaukeeadmirals.com [ f o c u s o n b a s k e t b a l l ] Bucks open NBA season at home this month Oct. 15, 19, 26, 29 The Milwaukee Bucks open the National Basketball Association season this month on their home court. After a disappointing season, fans and sports commentators believe a return to the postseason playoffs is possible. Milwaukee area residents and visitors also will have a chance to see two Bucks' exhibition games at 7:30pm, Oct.15, against the Chicago Bulls and at 7pm, Oct. 19, against the Indiana Pacers. The team opens the regular season at 7pm, Oct. 26, against the Charlotte Hornets and 7pm, Oct. 29, against the Brooklyn Nets. Off-season trades have strengthened the Bucks lineup, led by Giannis "The Greek Freak" Antetokounmpo, normally a forward but occasionally the only 6-11 point guard in the NBA. The next two NBA seasons will be the last at the BMO Harris Bradley Center, 1001 N. Fourth St. Construction already has begun on a new Bucks arena and entertainment complex north of the Bradley Center. The development agreement between the Bucks and the city requires the team to take control of the Bradley Center and demolish it within 12 months of the new arena's completion.
