Heron Instruments Inc. do- nated a well sounder to Water For Life International follow- ing the 2015 NGWA Ground- water Expo and Annual Meeting. Water For Life International was established in 1994 with a mission of drilling well-engineered water wells in villages in rural northeastern Guatemala. The organization operates three cable tool drill rigs and a pump truck. A Water For Life International volunteer, Jon Hansen, is shown using the sounder on a project back in March. SJE-Rhombus, a manufac- turer of innovative control solutions for water and wastewater applications, conducted product training September 13-14 for 24 attendees representing a vari- ety of distributors, installers, original equipment manufac- turers, and manufacturer's representative agencies at its manufacturing headquarters in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. Float switches, Tank Alert alarms, Build-A-Panel con- trol panels, EZ Series control panels, and Installer Friendly Series control panels were the focus of the training event. Geotech hosted its compli- mentary 8th Annual Field Days event, June 23-24, de- signed to provide its clients with demos, training, and hands-on experience using the latest tools, methods, and technologies without the travel and expense of trade shows and conferences. The event took place at Geotech's corporate headquarters in Denver, Colorado, where or- ganizations presented or ex- hibited at the Geotech Field Days included Geotech Computer Systems, Seamet- rics/INW, In-Situ, Ion Sci- ence, Leptron, RAE Systems, and YSI/Xylem.
