J&B Industrial Services Introduces New Line of Cone Strainers J&B Industrial Services, a manufac- turer of quality products for the origi- nal equipment manufacturer pump industry, introduces its new line of ver- tical turbine pump cone strainers. Its cone strainers offer improved design and performance. The first stocked products to roll out will be the 6-, 8-, and 10- inch male threaded cone strainers for threaded suc- tions in bright zinc-coated car- bon steel. Addi- tional sizes, weld-on style, and 304 stain- less steel will soon follow. www.jandbindustrial.com CME's New Drill Rig Works Under Low Clearance The new CME-55LCX from Cen- tral Mine Equipment Co. has a unique feed and retract system and a quick disconnect mast that allows it to work under overhead restrictions. The over- all working height with the mast dis- connected is les s than 12 feet when mounted on the CME-300 tracked carrier. This compact rig provides all the power and productivity of the standard CME-55, namely 28,275 pounds of re- tract force and 18,650 pounds of pull- down force. This high-torque machine features a new 130 hp diesel eng ine and can crank out up to 12,100 foot- pounds of rotary torque. Low clearance sheaves allow efficient use of hoists on low clearance job s. www.cmeco.com Featured PRODUCTS Twitter @WaterWellJournl WWJ November 2016 69 Operated by NGWA, NGWREF is a 501(c)(3) public foundation focused on conducting educational, research, and other charitable activities related to a broader public understanding of groundwater. Solinst Aids High Resolution Groundwater Profiling The Solinst Model 660 drive-point profiler is designed to be a minimal disturbance, pre liminary site assess- ment tool. It enables the collec- tion of groundwa- ter samples from mul- tiple discrete zones in a single drive/drilling location. This allows high-resolution sampling, contaminant vs. depth profiling, and detailed plume delineation. The Profiler has a 1.75 -inch diame- ter AW stainless steel tip with one row of screened inlet holes set circumferen- tially. Inlet holes lead to a single stain- less steel fitting, where a sample line connects and leads to a peristaltic pump at the surface. A grout tip ver- sion is available for e asy sealing of holes after sampling is complete. www.solinst.com
