PARK DOMES
The museum begins a new
holiday tradition on Nov.
19 with "Deck the Streets
of Old Milwaukee." The
10am-3pm event includes
holiday programs, musical
performances and family
activities. The holiday
decorations at the Streets
exhibit remain through Jan. 29.
Next to the Streets exhibit,
The European Village recreates
homes and shops from many
countries, circa 1875-1925.
Visitors can observe the daily
life of Europeans who came
to the U.S. This time of year,
holiday decorations add a
special touch and highlight the
diverse traditions represented.

With the arid dome scheduled to
reopen Nov. 1, all three domes will
be open for the holiday season.
As the weather turns colder, this
is the place to visit the "rainfor-
est," "desert" and "flower show."
In the show dome, the Fall
Harvest Festival display contin-
ues through Nov. 6, then Nov.
7-18 that dome is closed until
the Saturday,Nov. 19, opening of
the Not a Creature was Stirring
holiday floral show. The holiday
show runs through Jan. 1.
From Nov. 5 through April 9,
9am-12:30pm enjoy the Milwau-
kee County Winter Farmers'
Market where local vendors sell
fruit, vegetables, meat, eggs,
poultry and dairy products.
