Sales were particularly strong on the East Coast, with many regions experiencing sales growth over 20 percent. Jet boat sales in Fort Myers, Fla. grew 50 percent in the 12-month rolling period. In Nash- ville, Tenn., jet boat sales grew 43.24 percent and in Raleigh-Durham, N.C., sales grew 38.09 percent. Outside of the East Coast, sales were strong in Cincinnati, Ohio; Detroit, Mich.; and Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas; where sales grew 28.88 percent, 26.87 percent and 23.87 percent, respectively. Unit sales and service sales both increased by double digits in September, up 15.5 and 10.6 percent, respectively. Parts sales were the only category that declined, down 1.6 percent.
