36 AGGREGATES MANAGER / December 2016 ROLLOUTS KESPRY DRONE DOUBLES THE AERIAL COVERAGE In its second iteration, the Kespry Drone 2.0 features a lighter weight that allows the drone to fly twice as long and cover twice the ground area. The new unit can fly more than 30 minutes per flight, covering up to 150 acres at a 400-foot altitude. At the same time, it can operate effectively in wind speeds of up to 25 miles per hour. A customized Sony industrial camera captures more geospatial data for detailed 3D models to assist in mine planning, operations, inspection, and safety. At less than 4 pounds, 7 ounces, the drone falls into the 'Micro UAV' category for streamlined regula- tory compliance. The ag- gressive screen can accept media including bofor bars, finger screens, woven mesh, and 3D punch plates, which allows it to be used across a wide variety of applications. With on- board hydraulic folding product conveyors, hydraulic screen angle adjustment, and single lift set-up, it is said to be easy to transport and easy to set-up. The AggreScalp can work in conjunction with the AggreSand range by providing a consis- tent feed material even in difficult applications. Terex Washing Systems | www.terex.com Miscellaneous HAVER AND BOECKER TENSIONING SYSTEM SPEEDS CHANGE-OUTS Haver and Boecker's patented Ty-Rail quick-tensioning system allows for faster screen media change-outs. Each package includes two tension rail systems, eight angle boxes, and eight bolts. Once installed, each rail becomes a singular, removable piece with the bolts remaining at- tached to the rail, and the angle boxes remaining attached to the vibrating screen. To remove the tension rails, an operator loosens the bolts on each, shifts the angle boxes up, and lifts the rail and bolts out as one piece. This is said to reduce screen media change-out times by half, and change-outs can be performed by a single operator. Haver and Boecker Canada | www.havercanada.com
