Will is alive today because of UW's American Family Children's Hospital His family could not imagine going elsewhere Four-year-old Will Andrews of Madison is a very happy boy who has been through more than most of us will know in our lifetime. In 2009, Will's liver was giving out. He was transplanted not once, but twice, because his first new liver failed. Today, Will is doing amazingly well, running around like a normal kid. His parents are so grateful for the care their son received at American Family Children's Hospital. "We are so lucky to have this amazing children's hospital so close to home," says Will's dad, Josh. "Living as close as we do, people don't always realize the miracles that happen in that hospital every day. We simply could not imagine Will getting his care anywhere else."
