Networking News Long-time teacher and school administrator Jane Belmore has been named interim superintendent for Madison schools. Belmore, who most recently served as dean of the Edgewood College educa- tion department, will succeed outgoing superin- tendent Dan Nerad. Concordia University Wisconsin has named Dr. Sarah Holtan (left) dean of students. Holtan has taught full-time at the uni- versity for the last six years as an assistant professor of communication. The Foundation for Madison's Public Schools has welcomed Jennifer Hannon to their board of directors. The board has also selected Liz Heiner as chair, Kathie Nichols as chair-elect and Annette Miller as vice chair/secretary. Local women and businesses on the move Summit Credit Union recently announced a promotion and new hire. Robyn Ropson (right) has been named manager of Madison's Yellowstone branch. The credit union's Portage location also welcomed Dawn Kowald as a fi nancial services specialist. Cost Cutters Salons has promoted Dawn Vesley to general manager. Vesley has worked at the company for 26 years and will over- see the management of 50 salons in southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois. recently awarded a 2012 Dane County Small Business Award, which recognizes local businesses' contributions to the community and economy.
