Helmet House, Inc. has named Ryan Lucero as account representative for Colorado. He is the latest addition to a sales force that handles the SHOEI and HJC helmet product lines as well as the Tour Master and Cortech apparel and gear product lines. Lucero brings a wide range of dealer and distributor experience in powersports and extreme sports sales management and busi- ness development. He is also an enthusiast and member of the off-road racing community. "We are thrilled to welcome Ryan to the Helmet House team and know that he will hit the ground run- ning in selling to and providing service to our stocking Colorado dealers," said Bob Miller, president and co-founder of Helmet House. "With the industry starting to look forward to 2017, I am confident Ryan will be instrumental to Helmet House's con- tinued success and ongoing business growth." MONSTER ENERGY SUPERCROSS GETS TIRE SPONSOR Dunlop Motorcycle Tires has reached an agreement with Monster Energy AMA Supercross to be the "Official Motorcycle Tire" of Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, for the next four years, starting in 2017. Dunlop's official status allows expanded marketing throughout the Monster Energy Supercross series and more opportunities to interact with its customers. Dunlop is the longest running sponsor of Monster Energy Supercross and has won more Supercross and Motocross titles over the years — 143 total — than all other tire com- panies combined. Additionally, since Dunlop developed the Geomax MX3S and MX52 in 2013, every single Monster Energy Supercross Championship, and all but one Main Event, have been won on Dunlop tires. Dunlop is also committed to supporting amateur motocross through the Team Dunlop program, now in its 11th year. Team Dunlop alumni have won professional champion- ships, including top supercross contenders Justin Barcia and Eli Tomac. "We're grateful to Feld Entertainment for the opportunity to expand our interaction with customers, and we're very proud of our commitment to American motorcycle rac- ing," said Mike Buckley, Dunlop Motorcycle Tires' vice president of Sales and Marketing. "Despite all of the ups and downs in the mar- ketplace over the past decade, Dunlop never stopped supporting both professional and amateur motorcycle racing in the U.S. Racing plays a big part in the development of our tire technology for the public, so it's an impor- tant part of our business. But more than that, we believe in the spirit of competition, and nothing embodies that quite like motorcycle racing. As the only company making motor- cycle tires in America, it makes sense for us to partner with Monster Energy Supercross as we continue our commitment to motorcycle racing in America." EVS SPORTS SIGNS ROBBY BELL EVS Sports has signed Robby Bell, WORCS Grand Prix Series champion and one of the leading riders in off-road racing. Bell has been one of the world's top off- road riders for years and recently wrapped up the 2016 WORCS Championship. He wears the Axis Sport knee brace from EVS, which is designed for lightweight comfort and flex- ibility, while the aluminum hinge allows for a low profile structure that results in a comfort- able yet rigid brace. He also wears TUG undergarments as well as the SB03 Shoulder Brace. "I am extremely happy to have Robby on Team EVS again this year," said Brad Beh- rens, athlete marketing manager at EVS. "He is a great guy on and off the track and the per- fect rider to promote EVS Sports. You can see the dedication to his sport and our brand, and we look forward to this relationship continu- ing to grow for years to come." "I'm so happy to be continuing my rela- tionship with EVS into 2017," Bell said. "Their TUG undergear is so comfortable, and I wouldn't trust my knees to any other brace. EVS and I have enjoyed a lot of success together over the past three years, and I'm looking forward to another stellar season!" LANGCOURT PERFORMANCE ADDS TO H-D, INDIAN PARTS Auburn, Alabama-based Langcourt Per- formance announced the addition of a new performance division, Arsenal Racecraft, to develop performance parts and kits for Harley-Davidson and Indian motorcycles. Arsenal Racecraft has some of the best names in the motorcycle world as develop- ment partners, Matt Smith Racing, CP- Carrillo Pistons, Andrews Cams and Derek Churchwell of DC V-Twin. Arsenal Racecraft is introducing a per- formance kit for Harley-Davidson Twin Cam 103 C.I. 2007 and later engines. The kit consists of using OEM H-D cylin- ders coated with propri- etary LP-F1 coating (result- ing in increased HP, durability and heat reduction). AR Bullet Pistons are developed and manufactured for Arsenal Racecraft by CP-Carrillo a leader in performance pistons. AR Cams are developed and manufactured for Arsenal Racecraft by Andrews Cams, the leader in performance camshafts. OEM H-D heads custom-ported by two-time NHRA Pro Stock motorcycle world champion Matt Smith Racing then scanned and replicated on Langcourt's Rot- tler 5 Axis CNC with proprietary "Dimple Port Technology." DC V-Twin used a stock 2014 Harley- Davidson Street Glide with a VHR Pro Pipe and a SE Heavy Breather as the test bike, and the dyno results were 78.4 hp and 99.5 foot- pounds of torque. When the AR-107 kit was bolted on, it went to 131.7 hp and 117.8 foot- pounds of torque. That is an industry-best 65-plus percent horsepower gain, turning a standard Harley-Davidson into a performance machine that has been extensively tested. This Arsenal Racecraft Performance Kit will provide industry-leading performance with bulletproof durability that will outper- form anything else on the market, Arsenal says. The company is releasing its perfor- mance parts catalog for Indian motorcycles in the first quarter of 2017. "Arsenal has a tremendous opportunity to be an important player in the motor- cycle aftermarket industry," CEO John Silseth said. "As a collective team we have developed a superior product utilizing stock parts and giv- ing the riding enthusiast a better performing ride," said Colbert Seagraves, VP of Market- ing & Racing Operations. Langcourt Performance provides propri- etary advanced cylinder technology services for cylinder blocks and cylinder heads to its approximately 1,000 powersports dealers.
